Mixtape released via DJ Bandz
Local Denver rapper Ray Reed, already established in the scene and well-known for his skillfully fast-paced raps, just released a new mixtape, entitled PacMan. He solidifies his skills in double-time rapping and quick, witty lyricism on tracks like the lightning-speed “Petty” and “Part 1.” He also reveals a slightly more introspective side on the tracks “Iceboy Speaks,” which examines his “haters,” and through the frank language of “Training Day.” Throughout the entire album, despite the varied subject matter, Reed never loses his focus or flow. While many mixtapes lack cohesiveness, PacMan more than holds its own. Those who love aggressive, from-the-heart rapping shouldn’t miss this record.
