Maui Wowie

While it’s definitely not the youngest kid on the medicinal block, we’ve long been fans of this straight-out-of-the-’60s strain. Why? Maui Wowie—from Professional Patient Co-op in Wallingford—is delightful in smell and taste. And it’s a sativa-dominant strain of unknown parentage that works very well on depression and anxiety as well as migraines. It’s absolutely bliss inducing. And then there’s the cool name. Simply saying “Maui Wowie” makes you feel good—and medicating with this strain is no different. This particular Maui Wowie ranks as one of the nicest examples of this strain that we’ve encountered in ages, a refreshing change from the sometimes less-than-spectacular Maui Wowies we’ve seen in the Puget Sound region. Get some and wow yourself.
