Why did you start using medical cannabis?
I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, a condition that has no known cure, and the only option I was presented with was taking an injection for the rest of my life that would treat some of my symptoms and had significant side effects.
Did you try other methods or treatments before cannabis?
I had doctors that prescribed me cancer meds that were sometimes used with advanced cases of arthritis, but the relief I get from cannabis is so much more significant and [gives] me a better quality of life.
What’s the most important issue or problem facing medical cannabis patients?
The most important issue/problem facing medical cannabis is educating people on all the benefits that the cannabis plant has and the importance of safe access to lab-tested cannabis for patients.
What do you say to folks who are skeptical about cannabis as medicine?
For the people [who] are skeptical, I say, “Walk a day in my shoes.”

Thanks Im doing what I can & trying to give a voice for so many people with no SAFE access to MMJ. A person very close to me is one of the people with NO access in NJ and they have MS.

I wish they would approval medical cannabis in kansas. I was diagnosed a few months after suffering for years with the pain. I take humera and pain pills so i can get thru the day and i hate it. So. Good for you for getting the word out. I wish more people understood this disease.
Tiffany I hope you get safe access ASAP and if MMJ can help your pain management like it did mine, that would be amazing.
I know PsA can feel like an up hill battle. I find that MMJ helps me in the AM with stiffness and pain. I can’t understand why some people still consider using MMJ taboo.

Way to help your situation, and give you big “ups” for believing in this movement!!! I truly believe in the plant as well and it’s helped me with different symptoms. I really wish NJ and other states would realize how many various benefits the plant has! Too bad that it probably has something to do with the corrupt pharmaceutical companies ect…
