From Yipes the Fruit Stripe Zebra to Willy Wonka, cartoons and candy have had an amicable relationship for years. Now it’s time to welcome Dabby the Weed Pimp, the mascot for TinctureBelle’s new line of retro-inspired candies, to the mix. While we’re not sure if Dabby has any special powers, he’s definitely a master of flavor, as evidenced by its new, old-school-inspired Nut Roll. There’s definitely a lot of nostalgia when you pop open the wrapper and see the protein-packed snack waiting for you. The nuts are a nice addition considering the wide variety of standard caramels already on the market. You’ll also find a creamy nougat core that balances the salty, crunchy legume-covered outside quite well. The Weed Pimp is definitely pushing some serious milligrams, as a single roll boasts 200 and keeps quite well, allowing patients to portion control. We found the Roll’s extract to be mellow and friendly, with great consistency between the small chunks we sampled over the course of several days. This is a conversational, yet slightly spacey edible that is perfect in the right doses for those with cramps, back pain or spasms. Unlike the cartoons, it’s useless against an anvil dropped on your head.
