Sour Kush

Sour Kush is the classic East Coast meets West Coast hybrid (70-percent indica, 30-percent sativa), a cross of Sour Diesel and Master Kush. Happily, the two coasts converge nicely—in fact, it’s almost a marriage made in heaven. Sour Kush—from Green Café in Tacoma—has a dank diesel smell, as you’d expect, and a soft Kushy flavor on inhalation. While its indica lineage is clearly strong, it’s not a knock-you-out strain and it delivers a very strong head high that’s clear and euphoric—not activating or distracting. This would be an excellent strain for anxiety and stress and, since it’s a Kush, it also delivers effective and ample pain relief. Sour Kush is not a widely-available strain in the Puget Sound region and that simply needs to change because this is a Grade-A strain that offers real relief. It deserves to emerge as a regular offering at area collectives.
