Private Reserve OG

CSC in North Hollywood has some fine strains (we hear the Bubba Kush is excellent), so it’s only natural that its private reserve stash—the kind set aside for the discerning aficionado—would be off the hook. Try shining a penlight on this indica-dominant hybrid and look closely—you’ll see the surface glisten with sticky trichomes like it’s been dusted with diamonds (we recommend pipes or vaporizers for consuming this baby). But even without visual aids, the overwhelmingly minty aroma and the stickiness of its broad, leafy buds immediately tells you Private Reserve OG is as high-quality as its name suggests. The high—stony enough to make you wobble after two hits—is just as its 80/20 indica-sativa composition suggests: Deep-rooted and full-bodied, with an edge of tingling electricity. It’s a delicious mix of sensations that translates to lots of couch time lost in colorful reverie. Just how much time you lose to the couch seems to be in equal proportions to how much Private Reserve OG you ingest – it may be wise to calculate one hour on your seating device of choice for every toke. As such, it’s a good medicine to aid in sleep and to combat nausea, anxiety and nerve pain. It’s also great for appetite stimulation.
