Gingerbread Sandwiches

Sensable Patient Network has quietly carved out a reputation as one of the best, most low-key collectives in Seattle and these gingerbread sandwiches fit their mold perfectly—unassuming and perfect. First, this is not your grandmother’s bitter, dry, over-spiced gingerbread, but a fresh (as in made fresh daily), almost spiceless offering—so many steps above your average gingerbread that you might want to invite it over for the holidays. The cannabis in these sandwiches is barely detectable, but an hour or so later, you’ll feel it kicking in. And kicking in some more. These are some of the strongest edibles in town, but unlike many strong edibles, the effect is not overwhelming. Instead, the pain relief offered here lasts as long as six hours and is actually quite mellow. They sure must know what they are doing at this Ballard collective since this edible produces none of the too-common agitation on uptake and fade-out that edibles often deliver.  We think it’s mellow enough that these sandwiches could be used as a daytime medication.
