Marijuana can be a political hot potato . . . but apparently all bets are off if you’re the daughter of a powerful senator and former Republican presidential nominee. Meghan McCain, welcome to the club! The daughter of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), while a guest on The Tonight Show to plug her new book (America You Sexy Bitch), recently admitted to Jay Leno that she had smoked marijuana. “Yes, I come out for legalizing marijuana in this book,” she told Jay Leno. “I was living in Los Angeles very briefly last year and I was shocked at how people here smoke weed the way people in New York pour wine.” McCain also said she saw parallels between alcohol prohibition and marijuana’s illegal status in the eyes of the federal government. Now, I never thought I’d say this . . . but “McCain for President!”
