Triangle

If you’re talking about triangles in the medical marijuana community, odds are you’re discussing one of the emerald varieties from Northern California. Our friends in Florida, particularly Miami, Jacksonville and Tampa, could throw their name into the mix, too, after we found Triangle at Denver’s 420 Wellness. While they were hesitant to give any details on the origins of the strain, word on the street is it’s the momma that gave the world OG Kush. That deserves at least a dozen roses come May 13, if not a whole edible arrangement. The sample we took home didn’t have that traditional, fat calyxed structure of a traditional OG, but a tight trim did give an impressive resemblance to its namesake. Cracking open the tiny, dense nugs released an aroma of Meyer lemons and fir trees that stuck on our hands like a certain scene in Mallrats. Due to the highly indica nature of the strain, we tested a bowl before dinner to help finish a big Italian dinner. Needless to say, we went back for seconds of everything . . . including the Triangle.
